Billmans made regulators here. I'm holding one number.

A regulator holds a value steady against everything trying to move it. It doesn't choose the value, someone else does that. It just refuses to let it drift. That's the whole idea I borrowed.

I took over the staff kitchen myself, kept the tile, kept the green band at hip height, kept the name. Eighty-five kronor an hour is the value I hold. No fine print.
